Quality Senators Import Makes Aussie Debut

The Senators continue to import top-talent to set up the 2018 season, with Robert Anshila ready to make his debut on the Australian basketball scene. Having played eight professional seasons across the globe, the deal marks Anshila’s first Australian contract. The 31-year-old combo-guard is a former Oman Basketball League Champion, known for his versatility and high-intensity on the court.

“Rob is a dynamic player, and exciting to watch. He’s going to bring a lot to the Senators and strengthen an already powerful team,” said Mike Ellis, Senators Head Coach.

Anshila is primed to appear at the SBL Blitz, held at Warwick Stadium, on March 3 and 4. His first official game will be the opener in Rockingham for the Senators vs Flames on March 16.   Robert Anshila Media Release Photo
